Ne Touchez Pas! is a challenging arcade-style game containing 40 levels that will push you to the limit. You play as a twitchy bird and must escape a labyrinth of increasingly testing levels. All in monochromatic glory.

The game is a Flash remake of Andrew McCluskey's original version (with exactly the same name) which was made in Game Maker.

I spent around 3 weeks developing it. Of which a third was mainly solving bugs and coming up with solutions to problems with implementing MochiAds. It was very interesting to make my first game in Flash and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm glad I chose a simple game and I've gained a lot of experience and knowledge that will no doubt prove useful when I decide to embark on a new game.

Thanks for FlashPunk, Chevy. Without you, I probably would never had successfully developed a game in Flash. Smiley

Now, play the darn game. Heart

Seems to be a trend on remaking friend's GM games. This is cool. Yeah, really nice I think.

Thanks for the nice words. Smiley

Alexis, I totally understand - the game is very difficult; perhaps not that suited to the Flash crowd. We played it on the interactive whiteboard in my tutorial class and nobody (at least those who tried) could surpass level 3, except me of course. Tongue

Well , that's not a good thing , is it ? Or maybe we should teach those flash boys what GM games are made of .

Flash games are known for their relative easiness since it's best suits the players that play them - mostly casual gamers.

Thanks lulzmango. Smiley

Haha, good work. I wonder if anybody has gotten into the thirties or something...

The best I know of is that someone got to level 21. Skull

21 is tempting enough for me to have another go, but level 17 is a beast. I left after my death counter increased by about a hundred, and my finger is getting sore...

Maybe another day, when I'm really, really bored.

Hmm, a bug? I gave it another shot yesterday, and got to level 20 (and well over 400 deaths  Skull )

Loaded it up today to give it another spin for 5 minutes, and when I hit enter (continue) it loads level 22?

That's weird. I can't see how there could be a bug when it saves and loads all other levels correctly. It's all the same code.

Sad

Anyway, congrats for getting to level 22. Tongue
