Copy&paste from tigsource

Uh I'm super tired, and there's not much to say.

Go for more info here, http://www.globalgamejam.org/2010/cakewalk-7000
Uh download and read the readme for instructions etc.
Head here if you can't get the game (in the release folder) to run: http://yagerx.com/Files/cake7000/play.html

More about it:
Soundtrack is generated with from a few samples.
Used Chevy Ray's Flashpunk
More as I remember

BONUS POINTS: level editor in the dl'd zip

Worked on it with 3 others, sure at least one 'll post here...

(Theme was deception with (optional) subthemes of cakes, snakes or lakes.

oh and it's my first completed game =D

My rating:
2/10 for gameplay - nothing but jumping
8/10 for audio - the "music" was entertaining to me
9/10 for level design - that was interesting
3/10 for art - that was ...well it needed some work
Final score: 5 / 10

Not bad, but not over the top awesomeness either.
Keep developing. Cool

I admit, the flowers got me, but everything else was straight forward once you realize it's a game where you think outside the box.

Wouldn't call it ground breaking, but it didn't take long to make, after all. I'm sure you could do better. As for the game itself, I liked it.

Woah, reviews haha.
Most of the programming was done by me, and the art was other people since it was a collab (Global game jam?) between the four of us. Though I might polish it up and improve the level editor/tiles and make something else out of it.
Really didn't have enough time to push content through in 48 hrs @@

haha brilliant!

Loved the Music, it amused me for ages. 9/10
I liked the art in the game, but the main character didn't do much for me.7/10
Gameplay was short and the key doesn't do anything, but there where some interesting things. 5/10
level design  Cool 7/10

Overall 6/10. Not bad for 48 hours and I'd like to see more.

What's with the ratings, you guys? This isn't Kongregate, if I was gonna show you something I made Tongue a rating's not gonna suffice.

Either way, YagerX, this is one of the coolest Flash games I've seen in awhile! great job with this, I was stoked to see it on the GGJ site Cheesy Just about finished our own entry now!

That was fairly odd  Grin
Unexpected ending, and a nice little twist with the snake/flowers.
It'd be nice to see a continuation using the
harmful/harmless swap and trying to tell what kills.

I liked the hint system, very non-intrusive. I'm sure a reached terminal velocity, at some point during the fall.  Tongue
